Lincoln In The Bardo داستان مردی به نام لینکلن را روایت می کند که از قبر پسر یازده سال اش که بر اثر بیماری تیفوس درگذشته است دیدار می کند. در این دیدار لینکلن با صحنه هایی روبرو می شود که برایش غیر قابل باور است. او وارد دنیای برزخ شده است و با روح پسرش دیدار می کند. اتفاقات این داستان در مکانی بنام باردو رخ می دهد که در آیین بودایی به معنای برزخ یا میانه می باشد…
