کتاب  Harry Potter And The Sorcerers Stone اولین کتاب از مجموعۀ هشت جلدی کتاب های Harry Potter به نویسندگی J.K Rowling می باشد و از سری مجموعه داستان های فانتزی بشمار می آید که به بعد از ماجرای زنده ماندن هری پاتر از حملۀ ولدمورت که باعث کشته شدن پدر و مادرش شد می پردازد. این کتاب در سال ۱۹۹۷ در لندن منتشر شد و به دلیل استقبال بی نظیر مخاطبان یک سال بعد در آمریکا نیز منتشر شد. در سال ۲۰۰۱ فیلمی از این کتاب به کارگردانی کلمبوس ساخته شد.

داستان کتاب Harry Potter And The Sorcerers Stone

هری پاتر بعد از آن حمله توسط ولدمورت، به صلاح دید دامبلدور (مدیر مدرسۀ علوم و فنون جادوگری)، به همراه خاله و شوهر خاله اش زندگی می کند تا به وسیلۀ جادویی که دامبلور به کار برده است از حملات ولدمورت جان سالم به در ببرد. تا اینکه هری پاتر نامۀ پذیرش از مدرسۀ جادوگری دریافت می کند و متوجه می شود برخلاف آنچه که خاله و شوهر خاله اش به او گفته اند پدر و مادرش در تصادف از بین نرفته اند در این حین او با هاگرید شکاربان مدرسه آشنا می شود و پا به دنیای جدیدی می گذارد…
